Challenge

Create a socially driven digital campaign meant to reach Brazilian basketball fans and grow the NBA presence in Brazil. This would coincide with week-long activities culminating in a live event, Fan Appreciation Day.

Solution

#MostreSuaPaixao, Portuguese for #ShowUsYourPassion, is a responsive site that pulls live user generated content into one unified hub, allowing fans to view photos and videos from street talent around Brazil. The #ShowUsYourPassion movement encourages fans to share their best basketball moves as well as drive love and passion for the game in Brazil.
The #ShowUsYourPassion movement was focused around Fan Appreciation Day and drove engagement by encouraging fans to share their best basketball moves.

Create a fully customizable and robust mobile web platform to power a real-time gamification experience.
Create a backend CMS tool for the ESPN editorial staff to update, in real-time, for live broadcast coverage in correlation with predictive and historical trivia questions.
Create a fully-functional cross platform mobile web experience that works in concert with ESPN2 Live Broadcast Matches.
Integrate Twitter and Facebook access to create a fully social 2nd screen experience for fans.

Solution

Fresh Digital Group built a mobile web experience that combined the elements of gamification, social and live TV. We built a robust and fully customized backend CMS that allows for easy access for updates to the content, trivia questions, member rewards points, etc. This platform is fully integrated with Facebook and Twitter, and allows fans to share their Trivia scores with their friends and the world.
