Challenge

Uniquely positioned at the intersection of beauty and technology, Iluminage is a luxury brand that offers high-quality products to customers. They challenged Fresh Digital Group to redesign the website experience, specifically to make the path to point of purchase more efficient and seamless.

Solution

Fresh Digital Group developed a new website that enhanced the user experience and represented the brand aesthetic by improving the clinical aspect of the site as well as the main eCommerce portal. We also developed and executed a strategy to build the brand’s presence across social media platforms and engage with the target audience. We coupled high-quality, branded, aesthetically consistent images with social strategies of repeating patterns and re-posting followers’ content. Finally, we created an easy-to-use CMS and administrative dashboard for the website going forward.

Highlights

We were able to vastly improve the UX and functional integration of the website with our redesign of the clinical side of the Iluminage website. The redesign of the eCommerce portal facilitated an easier transaction process for online shoppers that had been deterred by the previous system. As for their social, Iluminage saw a 70% average increase in Facebook impressions week over week. Their Facebook followers are also 79% target audience compared to 13% average for brands on Facebook. The brand also received over 100 engagements in the first month of posting on the Iluminage Instagram page.



LA COCINA VA

Challenge

La Cocina is a Virginia/Washington, D.C. based nonprofit focused on providing low-income and unemployed immigrants education about healthy eating, employment in the culinary field, fighting obesity, healthy school lunch alternatives and other nutrition initiatives. La Cocina asked us to develop a strategic social media plan to help this charitable organization increase awareness and grow the brand’s reputation among their target audience.

Solution

Fresh Digital Group took control of La Cocina’s Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest and immediately saw results. We achieved all KPI’s we had set for ourselves and saw immediate increases in followers, engagement and post views. Additionally, we branched out from our primary focus as a mobile-first agency and ran print media for the brand to further promote their services. This resulted in a successful reach of the target audience and increase in brand recognition.

Highlights

Over the course of our time managing La Cocina’s social media, they saw month by month an increasing number of Facebook likes by 86%, Twitter followers by 63%, and Pinterest likes by 100%.





VALUE VAPOR

Challenge

Founded in 2009, ValueVapor was a premier e-cigarette brand, but their sales were sharply falling as new competitors gained popularity with more modern branding. They were being edged out of the industry they had pioneered. ValueVapor contracted us to entirely overhaul their image and reinvigorate their sales.

Solution

Fresh Digital Group created a full strategy for the ValueVapor rebrand after conducting extensive research on industry competitors and the success of our campaigns. We developed a responsive, dynamic eCommerce website with cutting-edge systems and user-friendly navigation. In developing ValueVapor’s social media brand presence from scratch without paid advertisements, we used high-quality creative and informative content. Finally, we made a highly successful newsletter by leveraging a previously unused email list to generate high sales numbers on a regular basis.

Highlights

Fresh Digital Group designed the website with platform compatibility in mind to ensure mobile responsiveness. We also made a customized Magento Shopping Cart to support both B2C and B2B customers. On the newly developed social media, total reach increased by an average of 1682% per week and post reach increased by an average of 883% per week. We also saw engagement increased by 570% per week and over 3,500 followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. The newsletter generated an 17.7% open rate and 4.6% click rate, compared to industry averages of 10.9% and 1.6%, respectively.



NBA BRAZIL

Challenge

The NBA wanted to create a socially driven digital campaign that would reach Brazilian basketball fans and grow the NBA’s presence in Brazil. This digital campaign was set to coincide with a week of NBA-run activities culminating in the live Fan Appreciation Day event.

Solution

Fresh Digital Group developed the website and app #MostreSuaPaixao, Portuguese for #ShowUsYourPassion. The website and app were responsive and pulled live user generated content into one unified hub, allowing fans to view photos and videos from street talent around Brazil. The #ShowUsYourPassion movement encourages fans to share their best basketball moves as well as drive love and passion for the game in Brazil.

Highlights

The #ShowUsYourPassion movement successfully drove engagement by encouraging fans to share their best basketball moves. This campaign was successful in growing both the NBA’s presence in Brazil and the popularity of basketball in a soccer-obsessed nation.
